Farcaster usernames Use an ENS username if you want decentralized and user-controlled. I use ENS personally. A reminder that fnames have a usage policy against squatting and impersonation. This has existed for since the beginning. https://docs.farcaster.xyz/learn/architecture/ens-names

‘Names that haven’t been used for 60+ days may be reclaimed’ The most underrated policy in social media🤯 If only other platforms did this 😭👏👏👏

To be fair, we haven't created a regular process or tool to do this. Maybe in the future.

It’s more of a ‘could have’ requirement that grows into a ‘must have’ as the user base increases. Above all, it’s fantastic to see the team already mindful of it! 👏

We have a trust and safety tool @chainpatrol that teams are using for reports. Makes it easy to process large volumes of reports and have native support for Farcaster. All data is transparent as well, you can see an example on our search page https://app.chainpatrol.io/search?content=blocksnoderesolve.pages.dev
