The bigger issue for Android now is Google has an existential threat to it's core business so expect it to get worse.

The real opportunity is for an Android fork with Apple-level UI/UX polish.

Possibly Solana Mobile? 👀 it’s a start

yeah to reach that level of taste / polish, has to be founder-driven imo

My working theory that the best way to achieve this is to have your designers and front end ppl wearing turtle necks while they work on UI/UX stuff.

That’s the challenge; I feel like any branch of android can only come so close. I don’t see anything getting to the Apple level of UX/UI. The Solana mobile stack is good on a crypto UX level since the private keys are built into the secure element of phone, turning it into a cold wallet. Probs not enough though
