I think Elon is largely responsible for making a very clear case that the US could turn into a one party state if there was amnesty to illegal immigrants in swing states

One side is worried about elections being rigged, which has been debunked hundreds of times and obviously proved false now. The other is worried about an insurrectionist getting into power, which he did. *insert "we are not the same" meme here*

It’s probably because people were brainwashed into believing the Democrats are Communists. Not exactly an enlightened electorate.
