Working on this one by doing a benchmark on Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT, Exa.ai and traditional Google search on multiple queries from different categories. So, I'm hoping to get an answer to this question soon :)

some ideas, most popular is to create XML sitemaps, use Google Search Console to request indexing of specific pages you require, implement proper and correct robots.txt directives , add appropriate metadata, titles, and descriptions , Implement schema.org markup in case academic or research, etc...
