1. It's not upstream of anything.
2. Has 100M DAU (first time they revealing that, much higher than expected)
3. Elon pissing off Zuck re: MMA and childish nicknames underrated in Threads as Twitter spite store exercise

I’ve been saying this for a while. A ton of my friends are very active on threads. 

Hunter and I were classmates. Kara is Kara. This is typical engagement.

yeah but I think a lot of that crowd (call it OG SF tech Twitter) is now more active on Bluesky.

threads is also very popular in the gay community
