@dwr.eth remove the character limit like X or make it a paid feature, it's silly IMO. Think it's the best decision X ever made.

Most users don't like reading longer posts.

I think you should let people post long form anyway and see how it pans out. People who like reading short witty posts will follow people who post that, people who like longer posts will post that. At least allow it in channels, that makes a lot of sense
