Frames v2 will allow developers: - make their frames "installable" for easy access - send in-app notifications for users that opt in - fully custom app UX like a Telegram Mini App (no more clunky images) https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/205

We are evolving, but I still recommend that the frames can be run embedded or modal would be interesting for simple things embedded would be good.

What's an example of a v1 frame you regularly use?

An example use of embedded frames could be displaying real-time updated Bitcoin prices, a basic game, or any other type of ticker. For more advanced functionalities, the frames could adopt a modal format. The current frames should remain but evolve to integrate these new capabilities. The success of the previous frames lies in their simple and practical design, but with the potential of the new version, they could have achieved even greater milestones.

There are many examples; the most popular frames only display statistics, but this is a social network. Frames should be integrated. I’m not saying the new frames modal are bad—in fact, I’m excited about the idea because the previous version was very limiting. What I propose is to also include the embedded format for the frames, enhanced with the new updates.
