If you're actively building a new v1 frame and not a v2 frame, why? Either reply publicly here or send me a private DC. Goal is to better understand what people are missing from v2. Reminder, v2 frames offer the ability to: - run a full mobile web app - users can add / save a frame to Warpcast (and other clients) - developers can send notifications to users in Warpcast

last v1 frame i made was to let people send ETH to their Bankr wallet. much quicker to implement for my needs. i needed 1) an image, 2) an input field to enter ETH amount, and 3) ability to submit transaction with a v2 frame i'd need to build quite a bit more to accomplish this task, but v1 frame handled all that for me and i just needed to configure a new backend route.

imo frames v1 don’t have to disappear, they are so good for stuff like this. we need both of them @dwr.eth

We will keep improving v2 until they meet / exceed the simplicity of v1.

I can imagine a v1 frame, do some copy paste and I can get it working in some hours.. developing a v2 app is a bit more complex and looks like early tech that may change.. so.. just awaiting maturity this time.. on top.. being a desktop user with no access to them just makes me think that they do not exist.. so, I just living and building in the v1 version I develop v1 frames skipping local development.. just strict typescript build validation.. then, deploy, test in wc tools and production.. but will not be able to do that with v2.. and opening tunnels to my local device is not the way I want to work.. in conclusion.. it is easier for me and requires less time because I already know how to develop a v1 frame.. but I want to try v2.. watched that horsefacts video an so on.. just awaiting my time.. nothing against v2 frames.. I had being asking for more interactivity and I think v2 is the logical evolution of v1.. happy with them and the impact that are going to have.. just lazy,, have to admit that..
