Is there a chance America won't be involved some war in our lifetimes? We've been (in one way or another) at war for decades.

Afghanistan was 20 years of that. Iraq nearly 10 years.

I'd say the US is improving recently on not getting involved in foreign wars. Subject to change of course. :(
