in this case, i think the penalty has to be on the user who floods these to random channels out of context, not /degen with that said, each community here should encourage staying on topic especially when posting to channels which are intended to stay topical.

i help mod a few channels and it's so hard sometimes to know who is real and who is not tbh - and this kind of post is a perfect example - i find myself hiding quietly to err on the side of caution
