Why do we consume our feeds algorithmically but our chats chronologically?

The current chat UX treats all messages as if they’re the same level of importance or relevance even though they’re not, especially in larger groups

This leads to notification fatigue which in turn causes members to mute and check out

This is why most group chats don't scale.

Feeds get better with more active people.
