Why do they need to know where I live? If I live outside the US (or my account is non-us) there is no easy access to the platform and transacting in general. Isnt open access the whole ethos?

It may be the ethos, but US-based people and companies are subject to strict regulations, most of which are based on country of residence.

Yeah I get its about regulations and thats why I believe its the fastest path forward. But i believe the goal is to be being able to transact from USA to Argentina (or any other country) and have quick access to liquidity and freedom of transacting. Maybe there is a plan to achieve that through regulations globally?
