True, at the same time DAUs is not the best metric for all projects :)

For some, sure. But for most it is and most thinking that they are an exception is the problem. :)

Hmm not sure if for most, since crypto is dominated by DeFi where other metrics might matter more (e.g., volume) :)

BTW for Facebook's north star was Monthly Active Users, for WhatsApp - Sent Messages, for AirBnB - Nights Booked, for eBay - GMV.
