Why extension-enhanced links on Twitter won’t matter

1. Most Twitter usage is mobile
2. Twitter algorithm penalizes links
3. Consumers have to install an extension

So it will work for power users, but not going to meaningfully add new users.

If it’s not natively integrated into the platform, it doesn't matter.

Wouldn't be surprised if a whole cycle of Ethereum desktop browser wallets try to do this.

I don’t exactly get the part of penalising links

Twitter's current algo significantly reduces distribution for any tweet with an external link in it. They want to maximize time spent on Twitter.
