1/ Farcaster onchain signers - Signers are onchain which gives more control to developers - There is a cost associated with onchain - Most users are on mobile - Apple doesn't allow crypto in-app payments - Make it easy w/o crypto is best path for most people - It’s 100% possible to create signers outside of Warpcast

2/ - Warpcast was covering the cost for all onchain protocol actions until recently - 10/100/1000x quality DAU is the most important thing to focus on - Other clients and wallets are able to create flows similar to that use crypto on web, e.g. caststorage.com

+1 for the App Store/warpcast approach. Just a note: Key difference compared to storage payment via cast storage.com, is that for the signers flow the app will also need the user's farcaster keypair, which raises the bar higher.
