Or the other way round: approve a signer that auto-updates your farcaster profile every time you update your ENS profile.

Is ENS still exclusively on Mainnet? If so, then gas for the transaction could be an issue.

We did this when we built a frame that lets you claim free Offchain subnames - https://warpcast.com/dos.eth/0xb97403bd. Claiming crowned.eth subname adds your Farcaster name and profile picture to ENS text/avatar records, + adds Farcaster's connected wallet to ENS address record. CC: @artii.eth let's do this.

Shouldn't be hard, ENS resolver allows for setting records in 1tx, but the signing wallet has to be owner/manager. We recently made a frame that allows for minting subnames and setting records in one tx. ( records come from Farcaster profile ) https://frames.namespace.tech/ens/mint/mainnet/level-up.eth
