That's the beauty of a social network built on a decentralized, permissionless protocol. If you don't like the direction toward centralization and social media, you switch to a different client that provides a more suitable UX.

I get the argument that there's an infinite number of shots on goal for a social app on a permissionless protocol. I still wrestle with whether there's a viable monetization path for a consumer app that doesn't involve media advertising.
