"Merkle just helps its friends" How many times do I have to repeat that most users and developers on Farcaster did not know Varun or myself prior to joining Farcaster. And in some cases have *become* friends because they stuck around early on when no one else cared. We've spent years with this people socializing on this social network. :) Don't conflate something that's earned / built with cronyism.

Im someone that msged you on Twitter for an invite and you were kind enough to send one. Farcaster was incredible place early on. Amazing people, an app with features that Twitter didn't have, virtually no spam/farming. Then that all changed and when users like me started to express frustration, I felt the network was trying to silence me. People said I was being dramatic and disengenious. You and V unfollowed me and V went as far as to mute me because I quoted him and pointed out how he was wrong about /degen. You also kicked me from the channel mod group chat and said "we are closing that channel down anyway" So here is the honest feedback: It felt like friendship until I started to have a different opinion. Then I felt silenced.

The honest feedback to you is we try to explain what we are doing to fix things and then you don't listen / ignore what we are saying / bring back up the same set of problems and then claim we don't care. The Farcaster protocol was always going to be wild and chaotic post-permissionless. There's no going back to the early days. Only forward progress.

I disagree with your comment about me not listening. If anything, I put in too much effort to uncover the truth by analyzing the raw data from the protocol and hubs. You might think most people don't care about this, but that's the whole purpose of an open graph
