What about when the same coin is present on multiple chains? I know people could say like [chainid]:[contractaddress] but when they donβt do that and just put a ca as many do now it could lead to lots of confusion

Yes I think that for it to be useful for farcaster even before CAIP-19 style identifiers replace CAs as standard everywhere it could be useful to have a menu to turn a CA into a CAIP-19 ID like the menu for picking the channel to cast in so it can work with the current user behavior of casting CAs. Sorry if this was what you are already saying I misunderstood then
