Whatβs something confusing about Farcaster relative to other social networks you use? Can be a feature, jargon, cultural norm, etc. Will try my best to explain.

Worked well enough for tweet and Twitter. More painful short-term, long term benefit to have a new word.

whats the benefit people don't even say 'tweet' so much anymore people talk about 'posting' as a cross-platform thing, and twitter isn't even twitter anymore

The benefit is branding and having a unique verb. Plenty of people call them tweets even today. You can call them posts if you want.
