I’m thinking a lot about silos. Farcaster requiring applications to farcon and denying people who are critical Brian Armstrong and other corporations offering huge payouts to employees to resign because they don’t align with “the mission” I fully understand why this makes things easier short term but I’m super skeptical how this makes things better for anyone in the longterm Issues are issues and dissenters might just save a company and consumers one day

Farcaster is not requiring applications to FarCon. FarCon is requiring applications to FarCon. It’s not an official conference. Hasn’t been for v1 or v2, either

Ah yes. I forgot about that. Sorry Still this kind of exclusivity seems counter to growing a larger community on the platform. I don’t see how FC separates itself from a public perspective I do understand you’re kinda screwed if you say something or if you don’t
