I'm pro nucleur cause I'm kind of a meathead 

but can't quite respond when people say we have sunlight+batteries, oil, GNC and aren't industrial

if you have fossil fuels, almost certainly the better fuel source

most countries have to import, so at that point, while still cheaper, you're dependent on global trade, etc.
