Have you tried using it yet? Elegant in simplicity, but UX is bit clunky.

app wise it sucks. but I dont think  it will be long until someone built a more decent client because the protocol is so simple.

protocol wise, it has interesting tradeoffs (no gated fid/fname, everyone could already run relays cuz they must in order to be decentralized, no global state, etc)

The challenge is the effort required to build a good backend that indexes content at web 2 UX means there will be a lot more centralization.

We tried that in Farcaster v1. 

Make things easy for devs is our v2 strategy. We'll see what works! :)

nostr philosophy seems to be 'relays should be dumb'.. and ask devs to build smart clients (msg validated on clients)

yeah. totally. I think a low hanging fruit for nostr ux is a global indexer from clients devs. it could be centralized as long as the core protocol is sufficiently dentralized
