Makes sense to me! It seems to be the antithesis of trad social media, where outbound links are deprioritized so heavily that people are unable to share their vision. Frames, as I see it, open up the full world of that identity online, revealing the layer beneath the social network to the true world of the poster

Right! But the interactive embed feature (rather than merely showing a featured image) seems to make the two systems closer in reality, since you’re not just clicking on a link, but engaging directly with the content itself. Perhaps closer to true transclusion online?
