New feature on Warpcast mobile: channels

- Channels are feeds of casts organized around a topic

- Anyone can cast and read casts in channels

- When you cast in a channel, it won't appear in the main feed

- Starting with FarCon and Purple today, expanding soon

Were experimenting and plan to iterate quickly. And yes we will have the ability to show / hide channels and re-order them.

Under the hood channels use FIP-2 and any developer is free to experiment at the protocol level.

A token and a collection are separate channels.

Warpcast may consolidate in the future, but would only be a client decision.

I know @rish with @neynar is thinking about interacting with individual NFTs.

Maybe I misunderstood FIP-2, but can you make a channel around a token: chain://eip155:1/erc1155:{contract_address}/{token_id} with and without all of its casts be included in the channel for the collection? chain://eip155:1/erc1155:{contract_address}

I’m having trouble understanding the scoping here.
