and why did we abandon integrating or transferring existing apps to be onchain

why the obsession with net new apps

That’s been tried. Not enough benefit for existing apps to move over (there are substantial UX costs).

which wallet/indexer/payments infra would you suggest for a gaming consumer app on base?
