The more specific the ask, the better!

When casting to a channel a user does not have access to, the cast button just doesn’t work.  

It would be nice to be redirected to that channels sign up rules or some instructions for what hoops need to be jumped or who needs to be paid for access.  Even a pop up that says you need to ask to cast here or something.   It currently just seems like broken UI.

Where is the cast button appearing in channels you're not a member of?

I was going to post to replyguys but the button was greyed out.  When I clicked it nothing happened.   

A pop up saying “please join replyguys here with a link” to a page or pinned cast  with that communities rules for membership might lower some barriers to joining channels.

What button? Was this in the cast composer?

The cast button is dimmed and didn’t work when I tried to click it after writing something.

You might need to update your app / restart a couple times to get a place where you can't see the channels you aren't a member of
