5yo asked for the whole family to pray before touching dinner. In a house that has never prayed nor spoken about religion. 

I let it roll as if it’s completely normal. 

6yrs ago I would have said, “baby there is no such thing as a god and religion is for the foolish”, now, “believe it whatever makes you stay hopeful and optimistic of the future but the moment you stop questioning it, you’ve lost”
