removing collections is the most midcurve trend happening in the nft scene when i talk to creators this is a common red flag. forget what i think. i haven't talked to a single person who is happy about it. this is a case of abstracting w3 gone wrong. collections provide massive utility for everyone involved, and are excellent for aggregating attention.

Dear Zora, You can keep your rewards, we didn’t join the platform years ago for rewards or handouts & this cycle of needing to create incentives to use the platform gives you & those who benefit to scapegoat accountability gaslighting users about only caring about incentives. This is where we part ways onchain

When you read this og mission statement from Zora now it hurts. If you read it & onboarded back then & remained active, it hurts deeper. Enjoy is the only thing that kept me using zora weekly since June. Not because of the value I got from enjoy, but because it allowed to make up for the value Zora sunset without notice by tipping meaniful art. The new enjoy system allowance being ranked on tips recieved unfortunately nerfed my impact & also nerfed why it aligned with my ethos Still very appreciative of the team tho.

if they just stopped being deceptive and pivoted from art completely id be supportive, but they double down selling false hopes to a new user base while posting stats of @jessepollak being top trending. Jesse is cool, but false hope is gonna scar & scare a billion users this way. Can’t deceive to mass adoption. This made of all of base look untrustworthy, the super chain doesn’t care about its most active and loyal long term users, artists, collectors. Imagine being new. Super out of touch. The goal was onboard and instead the past 12 months everyone with conviction left cus it felt scammy and botted, and now we got Jacob posting about a million wallets, when we are active on zora, there aren’t even 10k active users, and if there are that’s a bigger problem cus it means Zora def rigged it to only show the same curated accounts. I love this tech and I’m so ashamed of how obviously predatory the art/“culture” side devolved to.

I saw people on Twitter and here thank zora posting them claiming. A bunch look like bot accounts, and a few newer accounts I actually like, but can’t respect or support moving forward for not seeing the bigger picture of what has happened

At this point, no one I know who has been active the past 3 years was eligible. Random accounts and a few of newer accounts zora highlights were able to claim. But it’s people like cool trying gaslight like they didn’t farm for fee that has me thinking it’s time we bring coffeezilla in. Grace has long passed

Please do because as I assumed, my allowance was punished with a false 68% tip usage again. Combine that with the tips recieved being a factor now when discovery is kingmaker / platform curated. This is hard to keep enjoying
