where do you go in LA when you want to be around nature?

- Manhattan Beach
- Vista Hermosa Park

Living in Los Angeles 2012-2014 then again in 2016, after living in Tampa,   The inability to easily access nature was the toughest thing for me.  You can find spots, but others will likely be there.   So I found little secluded hidden nooks, in Palos Verdes where I could dolo in nature

Lots a favorite spots, Fred Howard Park after midnight alone, Friendship park, the causeway,  Anclote river park.    But Tampa is very swamp & foliage heavy in general,  so even outside of going to specific spots,  you could usually walk to secluded nature spot close to where you lived at
