Do you think there’s a way to avoid mints via the Rodeo wallet going to “hidden” in OpenSea, @kayvon? Mints via the Kiosk wallet have the same issue, @literature. OS remains a useful place to see who owns things etc, so it’s a shame not to have mints just appear there as expected.

Feels like everyone’s building a dumbed down experience trying to create less friction for non crypto native users as a result of not enough demand from crypto native users creating a situation natives don’t appreciate, and mass adoption feels further away.

Honest answer? Will exceed character limit as context is king. As an artist that pivoted to this tech in 2021 after 3 decades of releasing & supporting artists in legacy industry. That pivot came at cost, lifelong respected music peers and fanbase assumed the tech was an easily manipulated scam / cash grab & drew lines in sand distancing themselves from me. To prove this assumption wrong, I navigated this space in ways that view would be impossible to have weight. Leaning into 1/1’s without promo. 145 on catalog works, 60+ on foundation. Because of this, a 6 figure live saving surgery just happened. But I’m not just an artist, I’m a life long collector. My wallet reflects this increased using this tech. I’m very active. High conviction, want this tech to win.The pivot to disposable posting & volume created an experience since that can only be described as soulless, void of emotional connection. You can feel the desperation and the disconnect builders have assuming what humans want as a result

From video games, to video streaming, people are beyond over this live service, transparent as hell false value mechanic of inserting fomo as a tactic to cling onto active users, dumbing down experiences in a hope to attract new audiences, making a worse product for the core and loyal existing audience. The result is felt in the experience. Only in this particular sector. The disconnect connect is even more obvious. Assuming endless disposable photos of gradients, insider memes are even somewhat relatable outside this tech bubble. And because everyone built feeds that force activity onto users, you can’t avoid seeing unrelatable stuff in excess. Simplicity of product doesn’t scale without purpose or connection. At least not for art and none of this feels remotely social 🫂
