Midnight Breeze is a project that has transacted 4469 ETH, and continues to transact 35ETH in volume every month 2 years after release

At release, I only had 5000 followers, and a team of varied sizes pushing the drop.

Figuring out your position

When you first start out it's important for you to figure out who you wanna be. A programmer, marketeer, artist. Often these things are decided by your skillset. 

Figuring out your role can help create a clear direction for the future.

Midnight Breeze is very personal to me, and I wanted full control over where this project went. Being in these roles suits my goals and intention

Innovation:

Copying doesn't cut it anymore

To build a valuable project, you must be innovative. You must bring something new to the table

In the age of the 7 second attention span, it's very easy to fall out of focus and disappear if you're just a clone of whatever's popular

That being said, the creativity and change you bring with your product doesn't have to be huge:

Virgil Abloh, the late creative director of Louis Vuitton & founder of Off-White described innovation with the 3% rule - a 3% change to anything can transform it into something fresh

When I launched V1, Midnight Breeze was innovative by being a banner project in a PFP focused time

It's a project with zen and space, in a meta that was all about hype and   speed

Among scams and shills, I showed transparancy and delivered quality.

I think this was what made us stand out.

Transparency:

Transparency is important

Being open about what you do helps you gain trust. This trust is crucial to your growth and success as a project

People have to see that you are going to deliver what you promise. You have to earn that sort of trust, especially in a space that has been plagued with scams

With Midnight Breeze, I committed to being as transparent as possible with the project whilst keeping certain things a suprise. It allows for the community to participate in a way that matters to them.

It means that people connect to you as founder and creator and want to be part of the journey.  It's I think the most underrated aspect of the project.

How can you be in touch with your community if you are not part of it?

For some reason, a lot of projects seem to think that to be exclusive they should not be there. I think that is wasted opportunity.


So in short:
