That's correct. There's a tidy correlation between moneygun and some users losing their badges. The explanation is straight forward: overuse of the tool produces repetitious cast spam for that user, which likely gets them flagged. That seems to invalidate their badge.

there are many other tools that cast on your behalf

@gig created his own version - in fact, anyone can create their own moneygun-like client

@pichi used the moneygun since day 0 and she still has the power badge

it's a tool at the end of the day. if the tool is being abused. the creator is not the one to blame. everyone is responsible for his way of using it either if it is a good way or a bad way!
