These people didn’t even break any rules, whether you like it or not, if there are farmers amongst them, it can’t be helped, there will always be farmers, this is crypto.

You basically brought about locking huge amounts of degen to get max allo of degen tipping (i’m pretty sure when it was just by holding 10k in wallet and having good ranks on farcaster, we were very much better than this, that’s the best “skin in the game” instead of going money wise)

Exactly my standpoint. If you set the rules, you should abide by them. Any adjustments should be announced and made effective moving forward not retroactively enforced.

I can’t think of a scenario where future rules are used to judge the present, so why should present rules be used to judge the past? It’s completely unfair and I’m deeply disappointed in the degen team for undermining their own community.

Trust is the foundation of any ecosystem moving the goalposts at the last minute only weakens it.

Exactly! Those who followed the existing rules at the time should not have been banned. The rules were clear and specific, there was no ambiguity.

The team shouldn’t be operating this way. Banning users based on “we’ve added new rules, we’re informing you now, but they’ll be retroactively enforced for the past 30 days” is absolutely wild.
