Friday is going to be quite the day on Farcaster. I’m excited to see so many of my community members who’ve been labeled as spam have a shot at being seen. I wish you all the best of visibility in channels. 

I’m also excited that everyone will get to see the true spam problem on Farcaster. Warpcast has sheltered you from the worst of it and you’ll see the unadulterated reverse chronological feed of your worst nightmares when the changes go live.

I’m excited for more people to be “seen” on the main feed. 

The 0.25 FTT token gating is to hopefully reduce spam. It’s certainly not to be opportunistic. If you’re unsure if it will be worth it or not, don’t lock it, and you can sell whenever you want. 

I’m interested to see how this will go. We will adjust up/down or totally do away with it if the experience isn’t great. That is the goal, the best possible member experience.
