would you wear a corset to fit into a dress? past me wouldā€™ve automatically said no, but if i had a one-of-a-kind vintage piece thatā€™s starting to feel tight, iā€™d wear a corset for a while instead of trying to lose weight lmao

I think these are much more popular than people realize, or maybe Iā€™m just out of the loop. There is a vendor in my area that does very, very well selling corsets. She wears one everyday as well šŸ˜²

you are right, they are becoming more popular !! modern corsets are quite different from those of past centuries tho. they come with zippers instead of ribbons or laces, and often lack boning ā€” so the chances of actually snatching your figure are low theyā€™ve been reinvented as stylish garments rather than restrictive tools for shaping the female figure, buuut you can still find the ones that sculpt ā³ and i've seen many women online using real victorian corsets :o which is interesting because i could neverrr i would use them to develop a better posture tbh, how about you?
