Finally got around to have a look at v2 frames to update my v1 nft minting frame. Here is my experience staring from the mint-frame template by @horsefacts.eth as its already close to what I wanted to do. 

A feature that I never got to work with v1 is to display the actual nft after the mint. As its a randomized fully onchain svg, the metadata has to be read from the contract after the mint and then the svg needs to be rendered. I am happy that with v2 that was quite easy to implement.
Another thing I added to the template is to use the new viewProfile feature instead of a redirect to the author profile.

Biggest painpoint for me was the playground:
- tried a while on desktop first before realizing its not supported. I know its in the readme but didn’t read carefully enough 
- seems like base-sepolia is not supported?
- there seems to be some frame embed caching even if clicking reset? Had to fully close the app and navigate to the playground again to see changes to the background image
