In 2018, I worked with Dr. Mather and the James Webb Space Telescope team. As thanks, I received this piece of the telescope's "Spider" assembly which guides small cooling and exhaust tubes throughout the observatory as sunshields deploy. Gosh. Holding it makes my brain pop...

Just a thought, would you consider a canvas shadow box? Maybe you want a different color backing to contrast the item, but I think it would look cool in one of these.

I like that. It is a challenging one since it includes a loose bit of almost dental floss made of individual parallel filaments that aren’t even woven together. It is not attached to the aluminum guide either.
