Also might be interesting to note that there were people who weren’t ISIS who shot at US SOF operators on the al-Qurashi raid. It’s almost like ISIS and AQ in Syria aka JAN aka HTS have a common origin with the Zarqawi Network aka AQ in Iraq. But that would be crazy.
