Building an Ian Oughtred designed “Gannet” at the Oarlock and Sail boat shed, at Vancouver Maritime Museum

It’s coming along nicely, should launch this summer. The crew only work on it Saturday mornings, it’s been 18 months since we started it,  so made pretty good time on her so far. Before paint and varnish can start flowing… completing these gaff jaw ticked one more fussy detail off the list!

Haha, thanks, Max! A bit of hand-work is a great antidote to screen time. I’m an ocean lover, so building small boats is a dream application, but I understand knitting is also fun. (Ha)
