i don't blame anoncast — while i agree anonymity enables the behaviour, it's not a necessary condition and, what's more important, its nature makes it eventually teethless 

the fact that i quoted it is actually helping me make my point *without* damaging anyone in particular

but yes, money brings out the dark side in people

money pulls out poison that's already in people.

my view: anoncast enables (latent, previously suppressed) poisonous behavior, while tokens (proliferated by launch platforms) provide the stirring of the poison.

can't separate causality. also hard to assess the cost-benefits independently

to be precise — it's not token launchers per se, but tokens. even good people turn crazy when large sums of money are at stake, turning friends into enemies. 

token launchers in social feed make this more pronounced and, what's worse, people running them seem to be exploiting the communities instead of helping them like they claim.

Can u explain?
