Solo staking still doesn’t make sense for the majority of users. Over time, the social layer pushing for the health of the network won’t be able to overcome the lack of financial incentives for solo staking and perceived risk mitigation of using staking services.

Running a validator ended up being easier than expected thanks to @dappnode. In hindsight though, it would have been more profitable for me to have staked through an LST. It’s hard to sell solo staking to new users with there isn’t a financial incentive, just a vaguely moral one for the health of the network.

I think $TIA probably cools off around the Eigenlayer airdrop.

That there needs to be additional incentives to run a validator otherwise the LST protocols will inevitably control all of the stake.

The only reason $DYM isn’t tanking is because no one knows how to sell it.
