they were distracted out of an understandable revulsion for "memecoins", maybe also lacked curiosity about what creators and devs were doing with it after like week 1 nothing personal kid, no judgement, just business after all new meta is open, especially to the nonbelievers. you want your opps to buy your coin. you want to make their criticisms generative of better products, create better tools for both buckets of users
