I was told that poetry competitions do not accept entries of poems that have been posted online or on social media.  So, if you shared a poem here or on Twitter or otherwise, that poem will be disqualified from the competition. I find it ridiculous but that’s what I heard. Don’t kill the messenger.

This is wild. Even the interface is very similar to Twitter.
