Back in May, it seemed like everyone was launching memecoins to take advantage of their personal brands. I never really liked this idea because it seemed very 0 sum. Enter Moxie. Now, instead of a shitcoin tied to your personal brand, you can launch a fan token that serves many of the same functions but has the added benefit of being developed by a world class team. On top of this, because of the mechanics of buy/burn, fan tokens always have a reserve of Moxie, making them essentially unruggable. If everyone holding my fan token sold today, there would still be millions of Moxie locked in the contract from previous buy and burns. Tell me how this isn’t a better solution.

Yeah, Moxie’s done an awesome job, but I think the issue is the daily rewards and, as a result, the strong daily sellers. Farming this token has gotten too easy with group moves and boosting each other, which doesn’t allow the token to grow steadily.

Emissions will only be like this for so long and you can bet the team is taking note of the farming groups. They have adapted thus far and I believe they will continue to.
