No kidding. Is it truly a digital wellness break if I'm avoiding because the service is newly terrible? I think so. It's just not a voluntary one. So THIS is what grass feels like. Thanks Elon! You and plenty others have made the internet bad enough to break the spell. BLESS.

I really think taking a positive strategy like Carnegie did with libraries and investing public spaces of value would be a better approach than this…but alas I am not a billionaire.

Did the old titans of industry do it for the good or for tax evasion/ laundering/ the usual financial incest? Would love to think of them as class acts that held society's interest above unlimited wealth. But my heart says "nah. Same game. Different rules with accidental benefits."
