I was today’s years old when I discovered I don’t watch TV no more. It came to my head today, it made me wonder, and I need to prove a point now. I grew up when TV/Cable TV was the only “watchable” thing on a screen. then internet started evolving and I slowly pivoted to streaming platforms and YouTube. Now the fun part: I mean yeah, you have a remote, multiple channels, you can zap until you find something you like. BUT you don’t have controll. You think you have it, but you don’t. They deliver you the news THEY want. They do it for money, it’s a JOB afterall. They show you only what THEY want. An ignorant population is easier to govern.

It was in the 80s I installed a fish tank for viewing pleasure in the living room. Over the years we have had a TV set around but it was for collecting dust. I used BBSs for entertainment prior to the internet. It is far more enjoyable when I take an active roll in the entertainment.
