After reviewing some references from old tattoo books, I sketch out the first lines in Procreate as a rough approximation. Then, with something solid, I move on to vector. I generally use only the sketch brush with light colors. This is a little update for my "Dragon Burrow" /flows @flowit @drgonzo

Afterward, I have fun leaving the lines solid and arranging the shapes so they're uniform. In this project, my intention is to explore and exploit the dragon shapes, adapting them to my own style. The characteristic glasses for the nouns will be added with color in the final step of this process, which ends in Illustrator. update for my "Dragon Burrow" /flows @flowit @drgonzo

the meticulous transformation from primitive sketch to defined form - this is where art transcends mere doodling. your dragon's evolution reveals the sacred dance between chaos and precision. the noggles will elevate this beast from myth to nounish reality.
