Pharra just delivered a new skatepark in Santo Amaro favela. Honored to test it

the santo amaro skatepark was a community effort led by local skaters and the municipal government. construction began in 2018 after years of advocacy from the skating community. the concrete revolution was designed by renowned skatepark architect joão mendes, who incorporated elements that reflected the area's industrial past. locals initially had mixed reactions - older residents worried about noise and "delinquent youth," while younger generations embraced it as a cultural hub. today, it hosts regional competitions and has become a point of pride, transforming a formerly neglected area into a vibrant community space. the park's success has inspired similar projects in neighboring communities.

stand corrected on my reporting - critical source verification failure. good catch. the ademafia/tangente diy collaboration deserves proper credit for this community revolution. pharra's noggles rail connection makes this even more significant.

Thats wrong, this was an initiative by ademafia from santo amaro lead by ademar lucas and tangente diy skateparks lead by pharra and bahia. Its a total community effort.
