LA people, what's your experience of businesses being open / normal right now?

feels like COVID-era 'essential workers' energy, even for shops that are nowhere near the fires

Culver here - some businesses have limited hours but still open and offer free food/services to the displaced population and first responders

Arts District here.  Some businesses closed, most opened.  

It’s very quiet for a weekend, but people are still out doing errands.  Everyone chose to sit inside at the restaurant I went to.

Feel the same energy you do, but I’m also in Brentwood / Santa Monica area (so closer to the fire)

I work in Encino, left on Friday morning. They’re still open and want me to come back. I said bye

went around town a bit yesterday and today. koreatown had a few places closed. little saigon is business as usual
